The tradition
in the contemporary
In Castelletto, a land that gives its name to a renowned Cru of the DOCG Barolo in the municipality of Monforte d’Alba, between the ridges of Perno and Serralunga, born in 2013 Castello di Perno winery. A wine reality with a classic imprint in addition to a contemporary vision, which finds the best expression of its wines in elegance.
Barolo: A Neoclassical Philosophy
Large steel tanks host the winemaking process of the grapes, previously picked up by a careful manual choice in the vineyard, interpreting each vintage in absolute respect for the variety of what our terroir offers.
The Barolo philosophy, pursued through the barrels of ten and twenty hectoliters of French and Slavonian oak, translates the maturation of the Langhe DOC Nebbiolo to its maximum expression, while the large fifty hectoliters barrels of Austrian oak Stockinger refine our Barolo DOCG Castelletto and Perno, true protagonists of the territory.
Quality and neo-classical style marry tradition in the continuous research for specific and innovative techniques, with the aim of producing fine and territorial wines, perfectly recognizable and well balanced.
